I got a 2 gallon crock last week, couldn't find a

flaw on it prior to purchase. While I was washing it out, I noticed a

hairline crack on the outside, so I filled it with water and let it sit to

see if it leaked. it did, very slightly- more like seepage, but still....

I was hoping to use this for making pickles, kvass, sauerkraut, and

such.

Is there any way to mend/seal a crack like this so

it can be usable?
