Guest guest
Personally I think most of the time acid reducers are the wrong move. Most of us who have indigestion, gerd, or whatever you want to call it, do not have enough acid. I took antacids for years but now I take hydrochloric acid and within minutes it goes away. If I was smarter I would take it before eating but I find only certain foods bother me so I only take it when I need it. Amazingly, I seldom have problems when I eat what I should along WAP guidelines but I do have the most problem with breads, etc. even sprouted and sourdough. You may find that certain foods tend to be the biggest problem. What she is describing does not sound like acid reflux or anything like that, though, so it will be interesting to find out what it is. Guest guest
> Personally I think most of the time acid reducers are the wrong move. Thank you. There are actually two friends I'm working with, one that I quoted with the odd back-of-throat burning and one with traditional GERD symptoms. I'm hoping to persuade the latter away from acid reducers and toward HCl.
