Guest guest
I've used them with good success. Some say they work. Others don't. http://search./search?ei=utf-8 <http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=slv1-m sgr & p=remedyfind%20bach> & fr=slv1-msgr & p=remedyfind%20bach .. Here is more about them: The Bach Flower Remedies are a type of " vibrational, or energy medicine " which was developed in the 1920's by Bach M.D., an English physician and homeopath. Bach believed that mental attitude played a vital role in maintaining health and recovering from illness and began to diagnose and treat conditions clinically based on a person's emotional states rather than their actual physical symptoms. Dr. Bach identified 38 basic negative states of mind and created a plant or flower based remedy for each one. The essences are made from the flowers of various plants. The flowers are placed on the surface of a bowl of spring water for several hours in sunlight. Bach's theory is that this method would " charge " the water and create a " vibrational tincture " . Because Bach Flower Remedies do not contain any of the original substance used, only its " vibrational pattern " , the Bach Flower Remedies are considered to be different from homeopathic remedies (which contain minute amounts of the original substance). The 38 Bach Remedies are prepared from wild flowers and the blossoms of trees, except for one remedy that is made of water from a healing well. The remedies come as a liquid, preserved in brandy. The remedies can be taken individually, or up to 7 remedies can be combined together at the same time. They are taken by diluting two drops of each remedy into a 30ml dropper bottle, topped up with mineral water, and then taken as four drops four times a day. Alternatively, the two drops can be added to a glass of water, and sipped 4 times a day. There is only one Bach Flower Remedy which is a pre-mix and it is called " Rescue Remedy " . The Rescue Remedy was devised by Dr. Bach to be used mainly in emergency situations or after an accident, physical injury or shock. The Rescue Remedy is made up of five of the Bach remedies: Clematis for faintness, drowsiness and sleepiness; Star of Bethlehem for shock; Rock Rose for extreme fear of terror; Impatiens for irritation and frustration; and Cherry Plum for extreme mental pressure. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Pratick Mukherjee Sent: Sunday, April 16, 2006 3:45 PM Subject: Anyone familiar with Bach flower remedies? Guest guest
Hi , I trained to become a practioner using both homeopathics and Bach Flower Essences. I have had a lot of success Bach Flower Essences with mental/emotional issues as well as some significant physical problems. It usually takes about 3-4 weeks on the same specific remedies combination for significant changes to hold with an adult. With a child, it should take much less time, depending on the issues being treated. Good luck...I think that they are an awesome modality. Guest guest
To the OP, why would you want to give your infant alchohol? That is what is in those bottles. For a Group that is based so strongly upon FACTS, I am just bowled over by the answers. Where are the scientific facts behind Bach Remedies? What does Sally Fallon & the Weston Price have to say about Bach Remedies??? Since one is supposedly going to gain the " essence " of the flower, tree, whatever through the Bach Remedies, why don't you just go wave the actual plant under the nose?! Seems to be it would be just as good, if not actually better-since it would be fresh & direct. Right?! If not why not? Why would only Bach be able to derive the " essence " & not you? Oh, okay, so go soak it in, or waft it over the top of, some RUM then so the " essence " then naturally falls into the rum. *cough cough* Sorry, but I just do not buy into the whole " essence " remedy thing period. I am willing to give some pretty out there on the edge stuff at least a nod. Not this one though! JMNSHO, Vache

Where are the scientific facts behind Bach > Remedies? What does Sally Fallon & the Weston Price have to say about > Bach Remedies??? A fact is simply what is believed to be true or something demonstrated to exist or known to have existed. In that case, Bach remedies being very helpful is a fact to a lot of people including myself. Maybe there is a point to be made about using just the flower under your nose. I believe that would be helpful too. Unconventional does not mean untrue. One doctor I recently spoke with thinks codliver being healthful is not a proven fact. I think this group is looking for truth over fact. By the way, I'm almost positive that the Bachs come in a non-alcohol form. --- In , " vache920 " <vache920@...> wrote: > > To the OP, why would you want to give your infant alchohol?
