Monitoring the Interruption of ARV supplies and CD4 Machine

Dear folks,

Greeting from DNP+. Delhi Network of Positive People (DNP+) is a state

level network supported by Collaborative Fund; Our objective is to advocate for

accesses to treatment for PLHAs and to ensure smooth functioning of CD4 Machine

and ART clinic.

India government has launched a program to provide free antiretroviral to PLHAs

since April 2004, at regular interval there is a defunct or malfunctioning of

CD4 Machine and interrupted ARV supply, even though there are many NGOs working

closely with ART clinic they did not address the issue.

As a result PLHAs on ART face a enormous problem and could not do their routine

test on time.

Being base in the National Capital of India, DNP+ has the advantage to address

issues as all the ARV are dispense and monitor from the capital by NACO.

To avoid interruption and immediate action we therefore, urge state level

network to inform us if there is any incidence takes place at ART centre. mail
