Guest guest
Sorry guys I hate to BLOW the potassium thing to bits!!! Lack of potassium causes fatigue. I am on and have been on a potassium pill due to ticker problems for over 18 years. (Slow-K) My potassium level is constantly checked. So I have thrown that idea out the window. Guest guest
Marnie, Perhaps this potassium issue needs checking out. I take a water pill and if I do not eat a banana or drink orange juice each day, the potassium goes down and can cause leg cramps so I have been warned. In fact, years ago I used to have bottled potassium to take with the water pills for the same reason. This all needs to be medically confirmed or with the American Dietetics Assn. Feel good. Guest guest
Lori Jo, They can be maddeningly painful. I also get them in the car, when I turn around to talk to Reagan (my daughter). Every time I turn my torso like that, I get SEVERE cramps in my rib-cage area. If anyone finds a solution, I'm all ears (pardon the pun). --- PsySmoke64@... wrote: > In a message dated 10/25/00 4:24:13 PM Pacific > Daylight Time, > ncwaldrip@... writes: > > << I have NO idea what causes mine. >> > , thanks for the reply. She is not a complainer but lately she is sharing more of these things with me. She used to see a Chiropractor and tells me it made a huge difference in how she felt. She has a great deal of nerve damage from the tumor she had on her brain stem. I wish there was a solution to yours and everyone else's pain. I know seeing my Mom go through this all is so hard for me. Imagining so many other's with this I just don't know what to say. Guest guest
I get cramps on my calfs. I never thought it was NF2 related. Sometimes it will happen in the middle of the night and wake me up. ---------- From: Marcus Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2000 3:22 AM To: NF2_Crewegroups Subject: Re: Side Cramps?? Anybody? Hi Carol ! I have had cramps under my ribs, right side only. Been do it on and off for years, more so if I'm working in some very confined space. Doc put it down to a tumour somwhere. Also get cramps in one foot but I've busted a few toes and sprained ankle, so hard to be sure whats the cause, But I do suspect somethings doing weird things inside. Maybe I'm just getting old.... Falling apart Down under !! Marcus
