Guest guest
To the forum members, I wish to question the National forum against sex education that, if they ban sex education on the name of culture, are they willing to take resposibility of banning all the porn material so easily accessible on the net as well as the sex shown through the TV chanels, movies and music videos, blue films that encourage and play on the sexuality feelings of youth and portray wrong image of sex and sexulaity. How are they going to stop this everyday damage to our culture through TV, videos and movies, advertisements related to sex treatments and toys. Do they have guts to stop all this. Only then they can talk about banning sex education. Are they purposely turning blind eye to the fact that most of the wrong information about sex for adolescents comes from pornographic material that is so easiliy available. In the absence of any source to get scintific information it would be a disaster to stop sex education in schools. Also we cannot compare the earlier times when exposure through network was alomost absent or limited. Also how many youth representatives were present at the meeting? What would help is specifying the content of sex education material with prpoer review by the experts, training the teachers, specifyong who and how it should be conducted with close monitoring by NGOs working on the issue of youth and sexuality/ HIV/ AIDS Banning sex education otherwise would be really disastrous.
