Guest guest
Moderate carb (around 100, or less when I want to lose a couple of pounds) for the past 5 years since dx. I have found no studies whatsoever with any kind of detrimental effects of low carbing. There is now a small one on the Atkins way of eating now, which is pretty positive. Bill Maurer posted it awhile ago, and I'll repost it below for you. Barb ------ >>Go to this URL <http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/418266> for an interesting article on type II diabetes and Low Carb/Hi Protein Diets. You might like the prelimary answers that they have come up with. The whole article is very interesting reading, but you need to read 'section 6' to get the lo carb/hi protein answers. They specifically used the Atkins diet as their lo carb/hi protein diet. While the sample population was small, the results look very good.>> ---------- > o I was wondering who do we have on the list > that has been low/mod carbing for Type II Diabetes > the longest? Guest guest
I think that would be Barb, who's been on the list since its inception about four years ago. I'd qualify, since I've been on this list since the beginning too, except I'm not a type 2 and she is. And she's been moderate carbing for about the same length of time, too. Guest guest
Hi, My name is Larissa..I just joined from a web site.Wow i got an unbelievable amount of e-mails from different people. But your ? was about tubes coming undone naturally.I have heard it was possible, have you ever heard of it happeneing?I was hoping that it was true, but so far nothing has happened.I had my daughter 6 years ago and had my tubes tied the day after, thinking i wouldnt want another baby, until that is that i met a wonderful man.I have 3 kids and he loves them all,but its not the same. I was also wondering if insurance companys cover the cost and how much they are. Also wondering what kind of tests they do before you can get a reversal. Guest guest
Hi Larissa, My cousin told me today that her best friend had her tubes tied for eight years and then she got pregnant. It is so amazing. I am beating myself up because I want another baby and I am driving my poor husband nuts! lol But I want to find out if my tubes have come untied before I pay $5500 for the surgery. I am going to call my Ob/gyn tomorrow morning to see if there is a test that I can get done to tell me. Kia

Guest guest
That could be grounds for a restraining order. Take Care Of You, JaneSoul Re: Question Personally, I think it is best not to engage a stalker, you did reinforce the boundary by walking off without comment.
