Guest guest
, Hey what a great name you have! (I'm too) I too have very similar symptoms, and have been off my meds a week in preparation for my scan too. I have the cramps and muscle aches. The warped dreams I am not having now, but I did have them right after my neck dissection when I was taking percocets. They were really strange. I dreamed of eating glass, that my family was trying to kill me etc.. I was really freaked about taking the percs and quickly weaned myself off and switched to Tylenol. The only thing I can recommend for the muscles that I do at night, is take a hot bath right before bed. I sit and soak quite a while and it seems to make me " settle " a bit better. For any major joint pains (I have them really bad in my hands even when I'm not hypo) is to wrap them in a heating pad. It really feels good and works. At least for a little while. Hope you feel better, The other
Guest guest
Please let me what your experiences are and if any thing helped. the one thing i found that helped was getting exercise, outdoors, everyday. not a long run or anything big - i get too hypo to do anything big, and i stop biking when hypo because i'm afraid i'll forget i'm riding and fall off... but a walk outside in the fresh air, i find it helps me sleep better and more soundly. barb
Guest guest
To the Jaimie's & others going through the Cytomel Hypo hell... I'm right there with you! Weird thing- I have not had insomnia- I can't get enough sleep!! Yesterday I got 14 hrs and woke up tired! But I think it depends on when you take your Cytomel. I've cut back to have a pill (half of a 25mcg) three times a day. I try and take my last pill with dinner and by the time I go to bed it's worn off. When I was taking a whole pill, it was like I was on speed! My legs were shaking so hard I could barely walk, I couldn't keep my hands still and my heart rate was at 250! What really scared me was that my insides were going like crazy, but my mind couldn't keep up- I was affraid I was going to hurt myself! Jaimie- I had those same type of dreams when I was on Percocet after my surgeries. Maybe the Cytomel just has that effect on you- the timing of taking your meds might help that. Do you feel really tired tho? or are you wired? I'm on day 21 of Cytomel-- and it is BAD!!!!! I have to talk to myself out loud so that my mind and my body are doing the same things- I feel like I should be 92 instead of 29!!! Best Wishes to you guys!! Let me know what helps!! Guest guest
, Tylenol PM taken at bedtime works for me. It's the only way I can sleep longer than an hour at a time when I'm very hypo. ellen -- mailto:ellen@...
