Guest guest
I posted a few days ago. Nada is in therapy- we don't know how she's doing because the therapist won't talk to us. We are paying. Well, after your posts, I talked to my sister and we agreed to switch therapists to someone who could have an open relationship with us. I decided to call the current therapist in a last ditch effort to get her on the phone. (She has never returned our calls- even about billing!) Well, I actually got a call back today!! She talked to my Nada and got her to sign a waiver so she can speak to us!! My Nada was the one who said that her therapist doesnt do the open communication thing so THIS was a great surprise! She said she will help us deal with the billing by sending a seperate bill to us and send the bill for 1 visit to my Nada. We told our Nada that we could only pay for half a month of visits. My nada agreed to pay for 1 but wew were concerned that she would just keep sending us the full bill. The therapist said there is a long road ahead of us and that she could see through my nada from the very begining (sigh of RELIEF!!!) She also said that my nada believes that " everything is happening to HER " and that she needs to do some " deep work " on how she " experiences " people. The T was unaware of certain recent actions on nada's part so it was great to be able to tell her some of the things that are conviently left out during their sessions. I tend to be an optomist and I really hope that there will be progress. ly, just my Nada allowing her therapist to talk openly to me about her is progress!!! I sent my Nada a text message saying thank you for signing the waiver. I am NC right now so that is really a big pat on the back for my Nada. Thanks everyone! I would have never considered changing the T's or questioning the situation without the feedback from this group.
