CMC, Vellore (Multi Speciality Hospital) the PLWHA Patient care is going down & No confidentiality

Dear FORUM,

In the past three days i came with the positive patients for testing and

counseling. (at CMC, Vellore (Multi Speciality) Hospital. But the door (of the

conselling centre) is full opened and no screen also there is no confidentiality

in CMC.

I feel very angry again. And again i messaged the same thing.

In the one room more than 5 six persons sitting and doing all in one place.

Then the female patient is not counseled by female counselor. Both the patient

is counseled by male counselor only i try to see his name in id card but its not

visible.

Then the patient is doing some studies also no message to patient. This for free

of cost we are doing the test only messaging.

(Information about the) The study related matter not given properly. According

to the human rights if one patient you are using for your study or research

first you tell me all those details to patient then the patient accepted then

only do it. There is no consign signature also some studies some studies

mentioning the free of doing test so signature asking.

Today morning i gone with one patient but the patient is willing to see in CMC

but the counsellor came out side the OPD and telling its a killer disease you go

to government hospital. You not to take treatment in CMC due to money problem

he is telling in the medicine OPD public infront of more than 150 patients. This

was happen on 2.5.2007 8.15am.

Why this situation hapening again and again?

Even though CMC is a charity institute let as consider for the positive peeoples

also. Then 20.4.2007 i gone with another patient one old man with fex he is

rudly speaking with patients. He is not a good counsellor. He doesn't know, how

to behave with the patients.

His face also looking all over the body only with wrong thinking.

Then finaly i spoke with one lady he is quite and good give me lot of messages.

So plese consider and help for the PLWHA. I hope this message will reach for

all, that may give me a good solution.

Let as pray the god, Save the PLWHA patients

Please, I humbly request. Treat in good way, those patients include myself

also. If you are in that situation how you feel just remember and do the

needful to all as a same
