Guest guest
---Bonnie, My Dr. gave me some stool softeners, which you can get over the counter. I just found that " Uncle Sam " cereal that has flax seed in it and I have some for breakfast every other day. That seems to work for me. Carolyn from the P.N.W. Guest guest
Lavon, How much of an increase did you get? I haven't heard of such problems but you could always call the medtronics number on your pump card and ask them. Could be just a coincidence and you just picked up a bug somewhere. I had one a few weeks ago and I felt much the same as you are describing. The only good thing about it was I lost some weight! Guest guest
I went up 20 mcgm. I have had a couple of days of queeziness when increased before but not this much. Had the pump turned down today and will try going up 10 next Monday to see if it's better. Lavon At 03:27 PM 07/02/2001 -0700, you wrote: >Lavon, >How much of an increase did you get? Guest guest
Yes, ITB can cause problems with bowel movements. I take 3 Senokot tabs per day (2 in the morning and 1 in the evening) and drink prune juice in the morning. Nonetheless, I sometimes have to use a laxative (Dulcolax). However, I would doubt that bowel problems would cause nausea so quickly. I not had problems with nausea - I am at 520 micrograms/day. Guest guest
Lavon, Hi! I can only have my pump raised 2mcmg's at a time . I seam to be very sensitive to the baclofen. It also takes me about two weeks to get used to it. I got very sick and had terrible head aches when they upped the baclofen 10mcmgs. They told me that they had only one other patient that was this sensitive and he his 6'3 " . Take care, B.
