Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group! Glad you found us, sorry you had to. I know you feel so blessed to have your little Madison. I also have a daughter who is 5. But, number two has been the problem for us! All of my troubles began after my daughter was born. I've had 5 losses. 3 of them were EP's (i still have both tubes) and 2 of them were miscarriages (or perhaps EP's that resolved themselves). Whichever they were, the losses are still hard to bear sometimes. And, conceiving #2 is even harder (at this point). Anyway, I sure am glad you found us. Know that we are always here! Guest guest
hi , I am so sorry about your ectopics but I ma glad you have found ectopic pg. This is a great group of girls who are a great support. I am so glad to hear about your angel. I have been trying for four years and my first ectopic was in March and this was my second pg and second pg loss. I pray you are able to concieve again quickly! My husband and I have chosen IVF as our next step, we don't want to risk another EP.Kim
Guest guest
, Welcome to the group. I'm so sorry for your loss. The ladies here all completely understand what you are going through. We have all been there! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Jo-Ann > wrote: > > Hi! Guest guest
, Welcome to our group. I am glad you found us. What wonderful news that you were able to have a baby after 2 ectopics, a lot of ladies here could use that good news. I will pray your next pg turns out as well. As far as removing the tube, I'm not really the expert here on that, but I know a few other ladies have looked at this before, so I'm sure you'll get a few responses. Guest guest
Amy, I know what you mean my daughter maddie was unplanned but very much appreciated! We have a hard enough time trying to have a normal pregnancy, the last thing we need is not being able to concieve it is very frustrating. How does Clomid work? Does it release a bunch of eggs at one time? Don't you get scared they will all get stuck in your fallopian tube? The doctor told me I have two try for 2 more months before he will consider putting me on any fertility treatment (a total of 12 months) I am now starting to take my tempurture every morning. >,>>Hi! Guest guest
, Hi! My name is Amy. I have also had 2 ectopic pregnancies, and have been told that if the next one is ectopic my tube will be removed. However, I haven't ruptured and both were in the same tube. I don't really know what to think about only giving your remaining tube 2 shots. Maybe someone else has an idea. I know how you feel about not having conceived yet. That is how long DH and I have been trying since the last ep, and still no luck. It is so frustrating. Especially when considering that the first time I got pg (with my daughter ) it wasn't planned and the two subsequent pregnancies happened within 2 months of deciding to try. Now I feel like there must be something wrong bc it is suddenly different. I know that my right tube (the ep side) is completely blocked, and I'm on clomid. This was my 5th cycle, and if I'm still not pg after 6 we are supposed to go on to try IUI (if DH doesn't get deployed--he's in the army). So anyway, it is VERY frustrating and very tiring. Oh, yeah. And very upsetting and a big source of worry. Anyway, welcome, and I hope you find lots of comfort from all of the great ladies in the group. Guest guest
, Clomid gives your ovaries extra stimulation. It is usually used for people who do not ovulate at all. But the dr who put me on it thought that it may increase my chances of o'ing from the left (good) side. Well, it didn't work the last 4 months. I have no idea what has happened. I had my ep in July and started trying again after I had my first ep, so it's been 10 months now. It took less than 2 months before, and it seems like so long now. I know that poeple go through this for much longer, but for it to suddenly go from being easy to having to work at it. Very frustrating. Guest guest
Thanks Kristy. sorry to hear your mum has problems with uncontrolled sugars. Do look at the DAFNE link as I was very uncontrolled and ill until I did the DAFNE programme. It involves taking insulin to meet nutritional needs rather than other way round. I take up to 6 injections of lower doses some days as I find that keeps my control in good form.
