LAWYERS Collective – HIV/AIDS Unit – is seeking personnel for the

post of Advocacy Officer for their Bangalore Project Office.

Criteria required for ADVOCACY OFFICER:

Degree in Law – Knowledge & sensitivity to broad range of issues

arising out of the HIV/ AIDS epidemic in India with particular

emphasis on the legal & ethical issues. Good communication &

facilitation on skills – Experience with NGOs & public interest

issues – Willing to do field work with affected communities –

Comprehensive computer literacy essential. Fluency & communication

skills in English, Hindi & any other Indian language, preferably

Kannada.

LAWYERS Collective - HIV/AIDS Unit - is seeking personnel for the

post of Legal Officer for their Delhi Project Office.

Criteria required for Legal Officer:

Law graduate, in-depth knowledge of legal, medical, ethical and

social issues arising out of the HIV/ AIDS epidemic in India.

Sensitivity to the broad range of issues arising out of the HIV/AIDS

epidemic- 2 years work experience in legal practice in the courts on

public interest issues / HIV/AIDS. Experience should indicate

competency in project management and the NGO sector in India -

Computer literacy essential – Fluency in English and Hindi and local

language.
