Guest guest
Well gang, I had another EMG yesterday. My first (and last) EMG had been done in 1994. Since I have been experiencing a rather fast progression in the past couple of months, my neurologist decided to repeat the EMG. The neurologist who did the procedure told me that I definitely had more "nerve involvement" in several of my muscle groups. He said it appeared that the "horn cells" are beginning to become involved. Does anyone know what that means? When I asked him what all of that meant, he simply said that your disease "whatever it may be, is progressing and your neurologist will have to put all this information together to figure this all out for you." He said that my neurologist will get this information in about a week. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. With all the terrible things going on in our Country right now, it makes my problems seem very insignificant. I'll keep you posted on what I find out. Take care.
