Dear ,

good to see you again! I like what you said that you will

be " available on limited basis r private consultations " .

I would rather see you looking after yourself than spending a lot of

time on a computer.

Best Wishes

Ikam

, I'm sorry to hear you have been so poorly, but I'm also

glad to hear that you are regaining your health. Thank you for

letting us know how you are getting on. I look forward to hearing

that you are home, as I'm sure that will be a more conducive place

for your overall health than a hospital.

It will be nice to reconnect with members here and find out how

everyone is doing. Would you all like to " check in " and let us know?

As for me, I've seen a naturopathic MD, got some tests, and been

unambiguously diagnosed with adrenal exhaustion and mild

hypothyroidism. The antidepressant I took would have been directly

antagonistic to my condition, especially in withdrawal. Fortunately I

should be able to start treatment soon.

I have also booked a place on a course in Bristol this weekend, which

trains people in a healing method called PSYCH-K. It's recommended by

Bruce Lipton in his book The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power

of Consciousness, Matter, and Miracles. Apparently it's a way of re-

programming your subconscious with positive beliefs, and it utilises

muscle testing. Whatever caused the adrenal fatigue in the first

place, I don't want it to happen again and I want to take steps to

prevent it.

The fact that I am working at a demanding job 4 days a week (teaching

half a timetable) is testament to my healing from the drug. In autumn

of 2006, I only worked 6 weeks before I had to quit because it was

making me so ill. It really does get better, it just takes time.

Work-life balance is problematic, coupled with the crashes when I'm

at home (adrenals stop pumping out), but I feel confident that I'll

be able to sort these things out.

It's great to be back here on this list. Looking forward to hearing

from everyone, and best wishes to for your own healing.

Hi Tonya,

Good to see you here again too :) I'll keep an eye out for you on the

mercury forum. I'm not all that active there because I think I'm done

with the mercury (hair test says levels are very low), and my thoughts

are that for several months at least, the chelators were doing nothing

but forcing my adrenals to work. Once I stopped them, I went into real

crash mode. Going back to work this week has been very hard. I'm going

to start taking a physiological dose of hydrocortisone, have ordered it

from the US and am just waiting for it now. A few weeks after that I'll

start a natural thyroid supplement. At the moment I'm working hard to

keep going -- somehow I always seem to be at my best at school, no

matter what's wrong -- I must be good at this job LOL.

PSYCH-K this weekend. I'm not going to get the rest I need but I figure

that this should be an OK trade-off. It could be a useful healing tool.

I think Bruce Lipton must be a better " experience " in a talk than he is

in a book. Lots of intriguing ideas in his book but they were rather

undeveloped. There's lots from him on YouTube at least, so I'll

probably dip in.

My other favourite scientist, Rupert Sheldrake, was recently stabbed in

the leg during a lecture by a man who'd been claiming he was hearing

voices. Sheldrake was lucky to escape alive. Another victim of psych

drugs, thinks me. It's the drugs that turn people violent.

Be well,

.
