what happens when grandnada dies?

I've got a question for you who have been farther down this road than

me. For those of you who believe your nada's nada had BPD, what

happened when she died? Right now my mother and aunt both of whom

show BPD and NPD traits are very focused on attending to my

grandmother who is in ill health. It's very sad really - they never

broke free from the i illusion to realize something was very wrong so

they still seek to get her approval. Occasionally they'll admit a

particular thing isn't right about grandnada's behavior, but I think

both of them would paint ME black if I ever suggested their nada was

well...a nada. My aunt is likely to become " head " of the FOO family

after grandnada passes and I'm wondering when that happens will her

BPD traits get worse? Will she try to exercise power more strongly

over the remaining family members? (okay, my heart already says yes

to those questions but I'd value hearing others experiences at this

juncture)
