Stomach ...(w/response)

I know I'm overweight, but my stomach is sooooo distended on a regular

basis; sheesh, it looks like I'm pregnant! I thought after 6 months off

med. something like this would have greatly diminished. Any hope for this

to stop?!

** This is a symptom of impaired glucose tolerance. It's a

pre-diabetic condition. You can correct this by following a paleo diet.

You can Google this term for more info. Basically, the diet is no carbs

except those found in vegetables. No white foods. You would eat lots of

fresh veg, and meat, and small amounts of low glycemic fruits. This is the

only way to correct your condition. This is sometimes also referred to as

carbohydrate intolerance.

I had the same problem, and without knowing what it was started following

that kind of diet. It did work. Breads were a strict no-no. After a time

(month or two) of keeping pretty strictly to that diet I was able to relax

it some. For me, a probiotic helped also.
