Guest guest
<<My worst fear has come true. I haven't slept more than 3 or 4 hours in the last 4 days. My heart pounds like a jackhammer when I try to go to sleep. I am now starting to feel hypomanic, similar to around 2 or 2 1/2 years ago. I have a feeling I can go into full blown mania soon unless I get some sleep. Tylenol PM has not affected me one bit. Why would I do decent for 16 months and now all of a sudden I'm getting bipolar symptoms without taking any psychiatric medications whatsoever? How the heck can I get to sleep? I know I cannot go back into psychiatric care because they will destroy my brain even more with the medications. But seriously what can I do if I'm really bipolar???>> ** 1st -- stop taking Tylenol PM, then, for an issue this serious much more info is needed. Book a 30 min. consultation with me and we'll discuss what happened and correct it. Please fill out the History form and send it to me. Also send me times and days of availability for you. Include time zone. Please email me at my regular email address. That which people call bipolar is easily mitigated. We can ascertain this by looking at the month leading up to this and correct it in a matter of 2-14 days depending on factors surrounding it. The most important thing is not to panic. Hypomania is a condition you can control. Nothing is so bad that you are out of control with hypomania. You can also manage short term sleeping 3-4 hours. Your biggest enemy right now is your own fear. Also, so you understand, it is not unusual to have these things happen even 16 mos. after stopping all drugs. Quite often what is happening at this point is that drug metabolites are being released from the tissues. This can happen on occasion for several years. For right now, take 200 mg magnesium 3x a day. Come as close as you can to this. Finally, get these: http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Calming-Formula http://www.vitacost.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Fatigued-To-Fantastic-Revitalizing-Sle\ ep-Formula Take as directed on bottles. This should take the edge off. --
