Guest guest
Jo-Ann, You're so sweet to think of me and worry. Before I go on, I'll just say, everything is AOK from what they could see. Whew! I am so relieved. The reason I didn't get back on just had more to do with our starting to get ready to move to our new house. I have felt so stressed with my pregnancy and our impending move coming together. Anyway, they made me wait in the office like 30 minutes for my ultrasound. I was walking around the whole time, nervous as a cat. Finally, she starts looking and says nothing. After about 10 seconds which seemed like an hour, I said, " Do you see anything? " She says " uh hm " . So she turns it around and I get to look at the little sac RIGHT IN MY UTERUS. I was so relieved. She sad the sac looks like a good size, but she couldn't really measure the fetus since it was so small - normal for my dates. My HCG levels taken on Friday were 3384 (21 days after ovulation) and they drew blood again yesterday. I should get those results back this afternoon. I am a little nervous about that because the doctor seemed so tentative in telling me that everything looked OK. She kept saying that we'll know more after we get the blood tests back. I wish I had asked her if she saw any reason to think things are not OK. Maybe she's just being very cautious or something. Anyway, I certainly feel heathily pregnant and am pooching out more every day. I am SOOOO glad I can start ignoring all these post-surgical twinges I still get with regularity. Even if something did happen, and I miscarried, I think I could take that with grace. Just to know that I'm not facing surgery again is wonderful. Thanks for listening! Guest guest
, That's wonderful news. I'm so happy for you. I have my second u/s tomorrow in search of a heartbeat. I'll be praying for you. Tara PS. Maybe I'm just clueless on internet abbreviations in general, but what does JMJ+ mean?
