<<Hey group, It has been quite awhile since I have

posted here. I mentioned in my last update that I now

have been successful at my full time job for over two

years now, am engaged to a wondeerful woman, have been

raising my beautiful nearly two year old daughter,

moved out of my parents house and have my own now. In

addition to that, I've been able to do things that I

hadn't been even been able to before I was taking SSRI

drugs. Things like traveling to the other side of the

country on a plane, driving on my own every day, going

out to eat, going to the movies, walking around

downtown Cleveland and shopping in the mall. All

things I never thought I could do again when I had

anxiety and was immobilized from withdrawal for nearly

2 years. That is the good news.

Bad news is, I've been having some new unexplained

symptoms and have regressed a bit. I am still able to

work full time but experience alot of pain in my legs

when standing for long periods. I get short of

breathe. My heart feels like it's not beating hard

enough and sometimes get chest pain, I also get pain

in the upper right region of my abdomen, frequent

headaches, tingling sensations in arms and legs, pins

and needles feelings (especially in heat) and dizzy

spells. I was hoping could help maybe shed

some light and advice on this particular symptom. For

the past couple months I noticed a few tiny red dots

here and there on my chest and back. I thought nothing

of it until I started getting more. Sometimes on the

arms and legs and sometimes on the feet. Not covered

with them by any means and they aren't really

noticable unless I look close. I've not been able to

get a good answer from any natural healthcare

practitioners and I really don't like doctors since my

withdrawal. I've looked them up on line and seen it

can be a big problem and it has me pretty nervous. As

a result this has increased my anxiety level.

Could this have anything to do with the effexor and

the fact I quit cold turkey? It's been about three and

a half years now. I experienced more than a full year

almost symptom free. But since about summer last year

I've noticed gradual decrease again to the point I am

now although I still have good days/weeks. I'm not

really taking a whole lot of supplements right now due

to the fact money is alot tighter than it used to be.

I am open to suggestions and if anyone has thoughts

they'd like to share I'd love to see them.

** Hi Nate. Don't get all worried about the spots. They commonly happen

years later to people who went cold turkey or took a drug (or several)for a long

time that manipulate serotonin. Serotonin restricts blood vessels. This is

what is happening to you, too, with the headaches. Bilberry will help after

having taken it for 2-3 months. Vitacost is a good place to get this.

You mention not taking many supplements. Can you give me an idea of how much

you think you could spend on supplements? I'll tell you what I believe the

most important things are for you right now. I only do this when someone has

already initially addressed the problem as you did.

Regards,
