RAMAN DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANTS REQUIRES

Raman Development consultants Pvt. Ltd. (RDC) is a developmental consultancy and

advisory firm working in health, HIV/AIDS, Governance, Urban and Rural

development in India and surrounding countries since 1989 with offices in four

states and track record of working with all significant donors of India, country

governments and majority of the states governments in India. (Further

For the potential upcoming programs in HIV/AIDS, sexual health and reproductive

health in all states in India, RDC invites applications for the project based

assignments from the potential candidates meeting following criteria within one

week from the advertisement in all states in India.

Social development professional:

With experience in above sectors to manage state level function and lead a team

of multidisciplinary team with experience of 7 to 10 years with higher

university degree in management/ public health/ social development. Experience

in strategic planning, networking, coordination, liasoning with government

department and international development agencies is preferable. The person

should be well versed with government systems and procedures.

Finance professionals:

Preferably CA/MBA with 5-10 years of experience in grant management, accounting

and auditing, procurement etc. functions of NGOs and civil society organizations

funded projects; relevant knowledge of all relevant statutes; responsible for

financial reporting, developing finance and admin systems and procedures and

correlating financial expenditure with technical progress.

Capacity building and research professional:

With post graduation qualification in management or capacity building with 5-10

years of experience in training and capacity building function; skills in

training needs assessment, training module designs, developing local resources

and training assessment, research design and administration of social

development especially in health and HIV?AIDS.

NGO management professionals:

The Person should have experience in managing NGO partnerships on large

externally funded projects in health sector with experience in HIV/AIDS for 5 to

10 years. Advance master degree social work/management/public health and

experience in partnership management, NGO/CSO management, and understanding of

NGO role in development sector especially in HIV/AIDS, NGO appraisal,

contracting and liasioning, networking, coordination experience.

Monitoring & evaluation specialist:

The person should be well versed with M & E functions and systems, evaluation

protocols development, linkages with external resources and planning and

facilitating of large scale monitoring and evaluation function in state wide

program with focus on health and HIV/AIDS. Person should have advance university

degree in public health, epidemiology or statistics. Past experience of managing

M & E function at state level on large scale health program.

HIV prevention Project officers:

Person should have experience in providing technical support to the NGO partners

implementing HIV/AIDS programs through regular field visits, on field training

and monitoring, evaluations, developing project management system and community

participation etc. Post graduation in relevant disciplines in social work,

social science or management and 5-10 years experience coordination, monitoring,

liasioning at local level, networking, partner’s management etc.

Care and Support Officers:

Person should have working experience in care and support of PLHA, understanding

and sensitivity to the issues of stigma and discrimination, advocacy,

mainstreaming, linkages, resource mobilisation, and formation of SHGs etc. The

person should have advance university post graduation degree in social work and

related disciplines.

Medical professional:

The person should be MBBS with experience in ART management and working

experience in HIV/AIDS sector at state level. Management of services in the

public health program will be added advantage.

Condom, STI, Counselling expert:

The person should have working experience of managing state level condom

promotion, STI management and counselling service delivery program with five to

seven years of experience. s/he should have master degree in social work and

related disciplines. Person Should be able to develop guideline, planning and

monitoring systems for the partner agencies.

Common requirement of all posts:

• Computer literacy

• Ability to travel extensively in all parts of the state

• Professional knowledge of English language and well verse with local language

of specific state applied for

• Age should not be more than 45 years
