Guest guest
for immediate release Are you a KOB -- an Adult-Child or Kid-Of-Borderline parents? If you are then you are not alone. Nearly 1 person in 30 grows up in a home with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), also known as Emotional Regulation Disorder (ERD). Although common, BPD is one of the least understood of mental illnesses, as are its complicating effects on children in the family. Kobies often live with shame, guilt, anxiety, symptoms similar to PTSD and developmental problems for decades into adulthood, without ever realizing that their suffering was not their fault. Take a few minutes to visit our new, fully collaborative website with hundreds of links to the best BPD family books and other resources on the Internet. You can become a Ko-editor and help to build www.Kobies.org by joining our discussion group on Google. It's all free and volunteer-run, and we only exist to provide good information for Kobies. Members of BPD family forums will especially appreciate the comprehensive Kobies Glossary of BPD Terms, medical definitions and acronyms (like lol!) located here: http://www.Kobies.org/bpd-glossary Please tell others who might be interested.
