Guest guest
about 2 o'clock in the morning I woke up to what sounded and felt like a radio blaring inside my head! It was so startling; I began looking around the room to see if there were any radios on---not one (and my alarm clock was unplugged). I am almost 6 months off of Effexor XR (tapered off over 2 years +). Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? I've *never* experienced this before taking the Effexor and it's the only thing I can think of to attribute it to---if that's true----*why* did this happen, what is going on inside my brain to bring this on? Thank you all, Polly>> ** Neurological changes will cause all sorts of odd things to happen. In most cases this is due to the misfiring of neurons. This occurs because the drug(s) you took altered your brain structure and function. Your brain is now trying to function normally while not really having the underlying support to do so. This causes all kinds of bizarre symptoms, most of which only occasionally occur. You don't need to worry about it. The odds are almost nil that it will become a problem that interferes in your life. --
