Dear FORUM,

Resource Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS. (RCSHA) has taken the initiative

to compile a list of studies carried out in the field of HIV/AIDS/STI in India

in order to help researchers have ready access to reference material.

This compilation contains abstracts of both the published and unpublished work

sourced from Medline,Popline, Indexmedicus, abstract books and cross references

from various journals. In addition several medical colleges, government, non

government organisations, social work institutions involved in research in

HIV/AIDS/STIs were contacted for their contributions.

All these studies have been divided into four tracks:

1. Communication, behavioural and Social Sciences research

2. Biomedical Research

3. Programme research

4. Partnership

The studies can be searched either by the above mentioned track or title wise,

year wise, Author wise, Source wise, by key words, etc.

This compilation can be accessed at: http://shic.rcsha.org/ResearchStudies.aspx

A total of more than 5400 published and 400 unpublished studies have been

collected so far. This is an ongoing process and the database is being updated

continuously. For copies of CD please e-mail us at: rcsha@... or
