the Nada who is EVERYTHING...

Do you have a NADA who is EVERYTHING? In conversations with my nada,

she is everything and anything. With NO taining, college, university

NOTHING.... ZIPPO..... ZILCH... my mother claims to be a

physchtrist .... no wait minute, she is a realtor ... no wait a minute,

she is eye, ear, and speach specialist... oh wait, she is beauty

queen/famous model. The next minute, she is a children's book writer.

Oh, did I tell you my NADA claims that she has psych powers and she can

read peoples MINDS. I am like ... you have completed a day in any

school. My nada has panic attacks when she is in a class or when she

takes tests then she quits or doesn't even bother to start anything. It

is all a big huge lie ... a fantasy. It makes me angry because I have

work so hard to get through classes and paying for college, but my nada

lives in this fantasy life where she believes that she is. Also, I feel

that she takes my identity and who I am.

I recommend the book Evil Genes. Someone on this board recommended it

first. It talks about how people with personality disorders like BPs

and psychopaths are chamelion-like and become the topic du jour.

Ah yes, my nada is an expert the mintue she has an opinion so that

means she knows more than others, and when encountering an actual

expert with training she becomes quite challenging. This is a big

problem with medical doctors because she will not accept what they

say even when it sabotages her health severely. One time she put

herself in the hospital this way and still (behind the doctor's back)

said he didn't know anything and she knew better. I'd say so far

she believes she can be a medical doctor, chiropractor, plumber,

landscaper, veterinarian, oh I'm probably missing some stuff.

Deedome, is this how it is with your nada or does she actually

believe (in a multiple personality way) that she is doing all these

professions? And yes I've dealt with the vicarious identity problem

too....hands off that identity!
