Guest guest
<<hi, i am tired and fed up, more pessimistic, feeling i am not doing any progress. i am stuck on 40% decrease, as i don't want to make any changes before going for holidays. and i am constantly so tired. i go to bed usually by 9pm and hardly can get up in the morning. it takes me some time to wake up. it takes me a lot of energy to get to a more positive state of mind. i feel my life is passing by and i am not doing anything essential. mostly sleeping! my last decrease was 20 days ago and i am not going to do another one for about two weeks. i am just less enthusiastic than i was... ikam>> ** It can be frustrating but take a look at how it was before. You could barely function. I had serious concerns that you would not live another 3 years. You are so much better now. Healing takes place as we sleep. This is when the most healing occurs. We've had so many people here who cannot sleep. Please count your blessings. That your life is passing without doing anything essential has far less to do with sleeping and much more to do with your desires and/or your opinion of yourself -- IF it is even real. Take it a step further and define what it is you would be doing if you could. I'm willing to bet that this is more an emotional " acting out " than anything that is real. From what you've told me, you like the work you have chosen, and the job you have. You've done quite a bit to be able to be licensed in the UK. You've done more than many people can do while in this situation. The trick is to learn how not to react to how you are feeling. If you are tired of being tired, take a step back and look at yourself as you would look at someone else. Emotions are fine to have. But you cannot allow thenm to dominate your thinking about anything. Emnotions have no intelligence; therefore, you can't base reality on what you feel. Are you at all familiar with CBT? Allowing emotions without reacting to them is a very liberating thing. When you do this the issue usually passes in a really short time -- a day or two.
