Guest guest
I looked at RO water filters yesterday. The ones under the sink have a plastic tube connecting the filtered water to the faucet. I understand that the flexible tubing contains BPA and other harmful chemicals (not to mention the PVC pipes themselves). Has anyone with such devices had their tap water tested for plastics? Unless the connectors get changed to, what, stainless steel (?) -- is it making a significant difference? Doesn't seem like there are quick fixes to this problem, but I'm glad to see that the govt is finally waking up to the issues. In the meantime, I'm reluctant to boil anything anymore. http://www.noharm.org/us/pvcDehp/issue Recommendations for someone on a limited budget please?
