Guest guest
I heard about this. It seems that whatever the Japanese put their minds to, they excel at! I used to hate whiskey, but lately I've really gotten into it. I'm trying to curtail my beer consumption due to the carbohydrates, and I've found that whiskey & soda makes a delicious drink. Bourbon, scotch, Irish, doesn't matter (and at this point I can barely distinguish between different types of whiskey). Tom

Now I am really into it. And while I am a big single malt fan, I like many others as well. It wasn't until I tried a really nice single malt that I stopped hating and started loving and discerning the differences in taste between the various kinds. I like them neat though, I don't think I have ever had one with soda. -- I will say that unless one is in some kind of daily, personal dynamic, be it marriage or monasticism, one will never truly see themselves. Like it or not in either of these situations there is inescapable feedback on one's character and choices...There is a built in reality gauge in living in an intimate vowed relationship that cannot be simulated otherwise. -Anonymous

Scotch and soda is a good way to enjoy a lesser scotch, but I'd never wreck a great one with club soda and ice. Not in a million years. -
