I don't know which books to recommend but I do know that Acres USA has good

information on natural and organic farming.

Could you recommend a book/tapes etc that may address this issue. Also any

on how the soil fertility helps in the health of the cows and the milk

products.

~I would think Salad Bar Beef would be a great book for him. It's by

Salatin - the guru of grass-fed beef!

One of the all-time best is " Soil, Grass, and Cancer " by Andre Voisin;

but it's old. He may be able to download it for free here

http://soilandhealth.org/ which is an Aussie library for out-of-print

books; actually they may have a lot of good reading for someone like

that.

" Pottenger's Cats " is probably the best book about how grass-fed is

best for quality of milk, etc., that or " The Untold Story of Milk " - a

VERY good book!
