Guest guest
My csection is for May 15th and last night as I was taking my CLO I noticed it said " WARNING: do not take before surgery and ask dr to take while pregnant " ok so that gets me thinking now. I am taking 2 tsp of Garden of LIfe CLO daily. Should I stop taking it now? My baby is measuring small so I want to put fat on him before birth and was hoping maybe CLO would help. I have been on it almost my entire pregnancy. thoughts ideas? PS I know I asked this on another group but does anyone know of a way to get this baby to gain before birth? All my other babies are born 8-8.5 lbs and this one a week or so ago was only measuring 4.68 lbs. and I am due soon. I am only 5ft tall however. But why big babies and all of a sudden a small one. ( granit I ate MUCH less sugar than I used to during my other pregnancys. But I was also on medication multiple times in the beginning due to some icky health problems and I have higher blood pressure this time. I am old now ) they say that can happen as we age. Guest guest
Do you eat healthy fats??? Olive oils, butter, nuts, seeds, avacado's, that might help without thinning the blood. and wrote: > > My csection is for May 15th and last night as I was taking my CLO I > noticed > it said " WARNING: do not take before surgery and ask dr to take while > pregnant " ok so that gets me thinking now. > I am taking 2 tsp of Garden of LIfe CLO daily. >
Guest guest
The omega-3s in fish oil actually inhibit blood clotting and could potentially cause increase bleeding during and after surgery. I would stop taking it at least 5 days before your surgery. Call your doctor and see if he wants you to stop taking it earlier than that. Vitamin E, ginko, large amounts of garlic, nattokinase and many anti- inflammatory herbs can also inhibit clotting. God bless you and your baby.
