Guest guest
Hi, I have been on elavil twice in my life, and various birth control pills and depo that warn that weight gain may occur. I have never gained weight on of any of it. I don't know why it could cause gain. I exercise and eat right, but even before I did that I didn't gain weight. I wouldn't worry about it yet. Just eat right and do as much as you can considering your pain. If you gain weight, talk to your doc about switching meds or something. That's all the advice I can give! What kind of pain is it that keeps you from working out? Does it hurt 24/7?
