Fruit trees in residential neighborhoods - Sewage

So I pick some trees from people who I know don't treat the trees with

any chemicals. Avocados, Lemons, Oranges, Etc...

This avocado tree is giant, and it occurred to me that trees that big

could have grown into the sewer system and could be sucking up

nutrients and chemicals people dump down the drain.

What do you guys think?
