Guest guest
<<Duh!! What ever happened to clean smelling like clean? Nowadays, febreeze, lysol, bleach, etc are all associated with " clean " . Bleh!>> Yes, more an indication of sterility sometimes. (An anti-persperant for houses LOL!) But I understand your friend who likes the smell of bleach. I use the regular non perfumed bleach, well diluted, to soak cheesecloths used for cheese and yoghurt making, then wash them in fairy liquid then rinse and rinse and rinse. Then hang up to dry - it comes out like fresh air. Might try using peroxide instead...hmm! But I NEVER use any of the anti-bacterial stuff - I think they are dangerous. There's a lot to be said for being a slightly grubby parent - its truly amazing how many people with auto-immune ailments had super-clean parents at home. regards from edella (slurping away at a glass of chilled, 2nd generation buttermilk - made using as starter some buttermilk made from using live buttermilk as the initial starter - it gets more " fizzy " and sharp on each " round " . The next round will be heavenly!)
