The founders of Burt's Bees had sold it to a group of investors

who " flip " companies - clean up their products, market them better,

then resell for a high profit.

Sadly, organics and GOOD products are so profitable that they are often

bought up by the big players - Cargill, Kraft, etc. Of course they

don't put their names on it. I think that's why so many brands that

used to be healthy have MSG in them. Who knows what else!

Got word that the Dr Bonner magic soap people sued several cosmetic companies

for selling products with the organic or natural labels, that clearly are not

natural or organic.
