(I think I discovered what gives yogurt its tang!) The flavor is sharp - I may add it to my protein shakes since the lacto. can be taken after a meal so I don't think it has to be on an empty stomach.... 2 tbsp in my whey was a bit much for my taste. 1 tbsp was better.
