Guest guest
I need help/suggestions. I have had Herpes Simplex outbreaks ever since I was a child... stress, too much sun, sickness would give me outbreaks on my lips but they were few and far between. Now, for the past three months I am having the tingling pain but instead of blisters now the skin on my lips get hard, then it will crack and peel with about a one day respite and the cycle starts all over again. Does anyone rcognize what is happening and what I can do to stop this vivious cycle ? Thanks, in advance, for any input !
Guest guest
Hello Barbie, You bet. well... let me rephrase... not sure what's causing it for YOU but I recognize the symptoms and for me it was an oncoming cold, which kept coming on for several months when my immune system was totally shattered. Once I strengthened my immune system, my lips stopped itching and cracking. But MEANWHILE it was happening, I successfully killed it most of the time before it actually expressed itself with regular 3% hydrogen peroxide. When I ran out of it in my little purse bottle or didn't have it available for some reason within a couple of hours after I felt the first little itch, it hit me hard and peroxide did not do much to mitigate it. Good luck, Angel Herpes Simplex Posted by: " barbiec1953 " bcentofante@... barbiec1953 Sat May 24, 2008 4:39 pm (PDT) I need help/suggestions. Guest guest
The thing to know is that herpes is anaerobic, meaning it can not survive in a high oxygen enviornment. A very good book to read about it is " Flood Your Body With Oxygen " : http://www.oxygenhealth.com/paot.html Here's another website: http://neveranoutbreak.com/ My experience has been that one of my Aunts gave me the virus via a kiss when I was about 8 years old. They were never careful (and I didn't know better as a kid)and so I suffered for years...until I decided to take responsibility for my own health at the age of 23, when I did 1 or 2 hours of aerobics about 4 times a week, juiced everyday ( 8oz of anything my mother kept in our fridge) and stopped eating garbage. At about month 3 of doing all that, AMAZING things happened for me. No more asthma (3 inhalers) No more allergies (oral med.s and an epi pen) regulated menstrual cycle (NEVER regular before this), No more colds (I use to get 1 cold almost every month), Not one flu, and NO MORE cold sores !!! Not to mention the energy, stamina, and constant euphoria I felt. Ahh ..... oxygen. > > I need help/suggestions. > I have had Herpes Simplex outbreaks ever since > I was a child... stress, too much sun, sickness > would give me outbreaks on my lips but they were > few and far between. > Now, for the past three months I am having the > tingling pain but instead of blisters now the > skin on my lips get hard, then it will crack and > peel with about a one day respite and the cycle > starts all over again. Guest guest
I got a pretty intense version of the herpes simplex virus in college- my roomate had sores down her throat and in her lungs they thought. I kept getting them for about 12 years, whenever stress or illness hit and my lips cracked from mouth breathing. When I started taking a selenium, they went away, and I have only had any since then when I got too poor for my selenium supplement- which is how I made the connection. A significant portion of U.S. soils are selenium deficient. Lemon balm (melissa officianalis) is the herb that works best on them for me, internally, as a poultice, and there is a commercial cream made in Germany I bought too. Sandalwood oil is also clinically effective against the virus, but it is not recommended to be taken internally. I have put some on my lip, which tasted terribly, but did seem to work as well. Much sandalwood for sale is pure crap, though, so beware. Many tout lysine for the virus, but it didn't help mine one bit. Desh
