Dan, the answer is " it depends " :)

Here's a great and detailed discussion about the various pros and cons

There have also been a lot of discussions on this topic here on NN in

the past. Just use the NN web page search for cooked raw. When

I did that, 2099 messages were found. That'll keep you busy for a

while :)
