Guest guest
I live in the SF Bay Area and for the last several weeks Organic Pastures has not had raw butter. I've called them a few times and they say " maybe in another two weeks " each time I talk to them. I'm not very optimistic at this point that they'll come through. I'd like to order some raw butter from someone since this is the ideal time of year for that rapidly growing grass that boosts the vitamin K2 content of the butter. I see several listings in the back of the WAPF Journal, but I don't know which to choose. Can anyone make a recommendation? Also, I've been trying to figure out whether it's okay to freeze the butter (for shipment, and once I receive it). From what I've gathered in my research, fat-soluble vitamins aren't damaged by freezing and enzymes are also preserved. Probiotics would be killed, but I'm guessing the probiotic content of raw butter is fairly minimal anyways. Does anyone know differently? Thanks, Chris
