Guest guest
Dear members and well wishers, Today I wish to share more news regarding shortage of essential drugs in NE region. While the mainland India celebrates its Independence Day today, with much pomp or razzmatazz, we must also know that a majority of the population, especially in the North East of India are struggling for survival in the most unimaginable conditions and locations. To start with, we are having no electricity (if lucky- a few hours a day), hence neither light nor TV, or other electrical tools, just radio. We heard from the independence day program through All India Radio, AIR - India is shining ! Anyway, let's keep these things away for a while, we've got emergency situation here - no more essential drugs for the Indians in the North East. We are also in the panic grip of having another infection- “Bird Flu/H5N1” besides the co-infected (HIV and Hep-C) in our locality. Is there a diagnosis called “triple-infection” or would there be ? The authorities must act NOW, TODAY. By the way, a happy Independence Day to all Indian friends. Today am sorry to inform you that most of the NE states are observing total bandh/strike/protest and all the shops are closed and the roads are empty. Where do we go from here ? Correct and guide me pliz if I am wrong?
