Guest guest
Benefits of 3 whole eggs per day in a study is discussed at: http://www.jonnybowden.com/2008/03/more-good-news-on-eggs.html Bottom line: the more eggs, the less inflammation. This review discusses a series of studies using 3, maybe 4 in some, eggs per day: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16340654?ordinalpos=1 & itool=EntrezSystem2.PEn\ trez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum Chris
Guest guest
I just saw this article on Hyperlipid about a man who eats 25 eggs a day: http://high-fat-nutrition.blogspot.com/search/label/ How%20many%20eggs%20per%20day%3F It's a bit anecdotal, but a great read. However, this statement from the article, " high amounts of dietary cholesterol " doesn't really identify how many eggs or how often consumed or for how long. Got any more up your sleeve? The guy is wanting hard facts. He challenges me on a regular basis to scientifically prove much of the things I throw at him. He's 65, fairly heathly, about 20 lbs overweight and eats a fairly clean diet. He also, for the most part, agrees with me. He just wants me to dig a little deeper before I encourage others to consume foods that go against the " experts. " Rhonda

That's not the article -- it's the abstract. Like I said, they're talking about 3-4 eggs/day. > The guy is wanting hard facts. " I would hunt down the full text of that article. If you can't get it from a library or something, email me offlist and I'll help you get it.
