Guest guest
Ok, I've been taking Magnesium for a long time and I use lots of coconut oil, I'm not sure about the relationship of red meats and HDL, I rarely eat it [ok now you'll ask why] because I have difficulty digesting it, I have no problem with gently-raised chicken breasts, some fish....I'm am working on getting meat out of my diet, not completely but much much less. Magnesium and " coconut oil seem to work in women but not in men so much. Not sure what else off the top of my head. Guest guest
Chris One more detail that I missed out on the VAP test of my frined. His pattern is 'A'. So would it be right to conclude he has too much LDL but it is not (all) bad LDL (pattern b or a/b), which may be a relief. > Elevated ApoB means there are a greater number of LDL particles (as > well as other Apo-B containing particles such as IDL and VLDL). weight- you are not talking about the body weight, are you? Anyways, his body weight has come down to 120 (from the normal 155).. so something is not going on right, but not able to pinpoint what exactly it is.. (thyroid tests are ok).... I have recommended the magnesium idea to him.. Thank you Chris -Dan. > If he has a large number of LDL particles for a given weight, that > means that each particle is smaller and thus more likely to promote > atherosclerosis. > > Chris >
Guest guest
Chris What is your take on the HDL2/HDL3 ratio. He had 15/46 Ratio, telling the desirable HDL2 is in low quantity. Do you agree with that interpretation. Thanks -Dan. > > Chris > One more detail that I missed out on the VAP test of my frined. > > His pattern is 'A'.
