I've just started using a homemade deodorant made out of coconut oil, baking

soda and arrowroot (or cornstarch). Been using it for a couple of days in this

hot Texas heat and so far it's working wonderful! I have the recipe up on my

blog, but it's (If I remember right) 5 tbsp. coconut oil, 1/4 cup or more baking

soad and 1/4 cup or more arrowroot/cornstarch. You mix it all together until

it's the consistency of playdough and then apply it as needed. Surprisingly it

seems to work really well!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable,

whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are

lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if

there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8
