Guest guest
Deidre Currie was an amazing lady. She passed to the other side in January 2008, leaving her newborn son, Jack, and her loving husband, Archie. Here's their love story in Archie's words: www.deidrecurriefestival.com/lovestory.html Archie has worked to put together this festival in her honor -- Saturday September 13, 2008 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The cost is only $45 and the speakers include: Sally Fallon, President Weston A Price Foundation, Author of Nourishing Traditions Dr. Natasha -McBride, author of Gut and Psychology Syndrome Jerry Brunetti, one of nation’s foremost experts on food, farming and health Lubbers, Michigan farmer, teacher, environmentalist More information about the festival: www.deidrecurriefestival.com/index.html Please spread the word! NOTE: I just posted about this on my blog: http://cheeseslave.wordpress.com/2008/05/25/the-spirit-of-deidre-currie-lives-on\ / Archie told me in an email that he would really like to I would like to try to get Deidre's mother, father, brother and sister over from New Zealand to attend the festival -- but he is not sure if he can afford it. I can't imagine how bad they must be feeling right now. It would be so great if they could come to the US for the festival and be able to see Jack and Archie and see their daughter's vision come to life. If you would like to donate some money (every dollar would help) to help Archie buy plane tickets for Deidre's family, please email me at inasnit@... .. I'm pledging $100. You can make a check out to Archie Welch. I will email you back and give you an address to mail the check (I'll get a PO box). Thanks, everyone, Ann Marie
