I've done that before on my first attempt at 100% rye bread. It was

almost like a brick but tasted so good so I broke it up and soaked it

in butter and added some salt/spices and it was great. If you want it

to be more nourishing some raw grated cheese might add a nice touch.

I also used to eat croutons out of the box when I was little. I would

ask my dad to buy them and I would eat them like people eat potato chips.
