Just wondering - you had the Glazer evaluation before you got vaginismus?

answered: I had the evaluation while I was in the last stages of recovering from vaginismus. I originally had pain prior to vag symptoms, however did not recall that till after I resolved the vag and still had the pain and burning symptoms that were prior to the vag. I had thought the vaglike symptoms were causing the burning and pain. However, once I resolved the vag, I realized it was the other way however the vag complicated the pain.

biofeedback at all?

the other answered: That the evaluation showed that I had good muscle ability. The sEMG biofeedback is used for the evaluation, then used for the treatment so evaluation and treatment use the same equipment. In hindsight, though I did show as good, I realize that if I had used the equipment, I believe I would have gotten better sooner! Note, at the time I had pretty much resolved the vag and was only having the burning when I volunteered to have the evaluation done.

Like I mentioned before, I think Glazer will be honest with you. If you need it, he will recommend it, if not he just said so.

If you email me personally to remind me to write up more about this, I could post my results from the sheets that day. Since I am overwhelmed with obligations, I would appreciate the reminder every couple weeks. I have many irons in the fire right now with a research study I am working on, an upcoming presentation in San Diego, starting a sexuality program at a local agency for seniors and my college studies. So be patient with me, yet don't worry about bugging me. Sometimes I need that done!
