Guest guest
This subject of biophotons is a very interesting one. No doubt it is related to Kyrlian photography, in which a photograph is taken of a person's " aura " , i.e. the emission of light particles surrounding a person which normally cannot be seen by the naked eye. However, people with certain " psychic " powers habitually see the aura; likewise people who have developed such powers have auras which are more readily seen by others--supposedly the explanation for the " halo " in religious paintings of saints. (Let's not forget that a " saint " is someone who performs " miracles " --which would be demonstrations of " psychic " power or the ability to manipulate " energy " through non-conventional means). It is also maintained by healers of the yogic stripe that the color of this aura provides information on your physical and spiritual health, which are so inextricably linked as to be one--the healthiest aura being the sought after " white light " and the worst being more or less black. Within that, all the colors of the spectrum can be represented and each mean something very specific. They are also related to the chakras in Ayurvedic medicine (which each have their own color and physical and emotional/spiritual " field " , and to color therapy. I have seen some Kirilian (spelling?) photographs and they are pretty dazzling. Coincidentally last night I happened to see a special on TV on the Tuscany region of Italy , which showed how modern wine growers, in order to determine when the grapes are ready for harvesting, take the juice of the grape and put it on a " high tech " instrument which they then hold up to the sunlight. The machine reads the light emissions of the juice which reveal the sugar content of the grape and whether it is ready to be harvested. Personally I have not had much experience with light therapy other than experiencing some pretty stunning visions in my " third eye " when I practiced yoga seriously. But I have had some very interesting experiences with other types of subtle energetic medicine which I am sure are related. Two and a half years ago I studied Tai Chi with one of China's foremost masters. I had been severely, clinically depressed for several months and was having severe anxiety attacks, among other things. Master Yang did a " Chi " healing in which he stood approximately two feet away from me and simply " gave me Chi " --he held out his open hand and released the Chi through one of the main points, which are in the palms, in a steady flow toward my throat and chest (the area of the anxiety attacks). I didn't feel that much while he was doing it but afterwards I had an incredible surge of energy that lasted for a couple of weeks--really I felt almost like a Tai Chi master myself. The heat energy coming out of my hands was at all times very intense during this period and energy was pulsating out of me. I was in a great mood. I also coughed up a huge amount of phlegm (I was smoking at the time). The energy probably would have lastedmuch longer since I was practicing the Tai Chi every morning, but my father died and there was family crap and I started getting the attacks and the depression again. Also the master felt it was too depleting on himself to do these treatments regularly (he would not only lose energy but he would pick up some of my " negative " energy during the treatment, which lasted fifteen minutes). Then unfortunately I took a job where I couldn't go to his classes any more. (The truth is though at the time I was probably lucky to get a job). Also before that I used to go to a naturopath in New York named Randolph Meltzer. He was incredibly successful in treating me for candidiasis, herpes and chronic fatigue. He used homeopathic/herbal combinations which are themselves based on their own very subtle energy, as you know. These medicines were ordered from Germany and some were made according to his specs in Germany. He also used a machine which had " ampules " or vials which were each related to specific organ and disease function. (I really don't know what was in them). This machine was also from Germany and it was an electronic computer. He said he was one of the only people using it in the US. By attaching me to the machine he was able to measure organ and related disease function through the " electro-magnetic " field. Then he would have me hold any of several possible remedies in succession, and the machine would measure which one brought me up to the desired reading for that function. That is the remedy he would prescribe. He would constantly check and recheck the supplements during the treatment because he firmly believed that no one product will be good forever. He was the one who introduced me to the concept of supplement rotation. He felt strongly that the body is in a constantly changing energetic state, plus constantly builds tolerance and immunity to what is introduced to it, so medication had to be changed regularly. I have no doubt that this measurement of " electromagnetic " field was related to biophotons in some way. His supplements were incredibly effective and he often would question me about symptoms I had forgotten to tell him about, based on the conditions which had emerged from the readings. For instance he asked me had I not been nauseous and eating too much fried food since my gall bladder bile readings were too high. I had eaten Indian food and potato chips and god knows what, and I had had bilious nausea, but I'd totally forgotten to tell him about it. Since those treatments, which lasted about a year, I really haven't had viral and fungal problems (which is odd because I'd had fungus all my life). But after stopping them I did undergo the depression and now the worms. But they are just SO expensive.... We have only just begun to tap the mysteries and the energies that are within our grasp. It is the meeting of ancient and traditional (often referred to sloppily as " eastern " ) practices with modern ( " western " ) technology which will accomplish this, of course provided we don't kill ourselves and the planet first. The problem for us on the list is that these treatments tend to be very, very expensive and difficult to locate, and since they are in the pioneering stage, there are a lot of " quacks " or at least healers who are really just learning their practice, especially on the less expensive end of the scale. So what to do in the meantime about our tapeworms and gallstones and irritable bowels and what not? For many of us at certain times of our lives these healing modalities must remain a point of arcane speculation at best. But I do think it helps to be reminded of them. Ultimately we ARE energy, and this should serve to remind us that everything IS possible. Provided, of course, the body remains intact. But (and 2, I'm sorry to keep on harping on this, I know you feel you've tried everything but I have to say again) once you cut an organ out, the needed energy that could come from it is GONE FOREVER). Finally, Ulf, I would like to know what list the biophoton information came from, if you don't mind. Robin

Robin It is a mailing list for subscribers to the magazine International Viewpoints. If more interesting things come up, I will forward them here. Right now I have several hundreds of letters to go through. Have been away over the weekend to Oslo for a two day seminar in the Hulda methods. Bought the new book and had the opportunity to see the Syncrometer being used by a real professional. Very, very interesting! :-) Best regards, Ulf ulftage@... Guest guest
I just started looking up the subject of biophotons after seeing the word online. Very interesting stuff, you should google it, but heres a quick link anyway - http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-biophotons.htm Here is a quote " Plants, animals and humans generate up to 100 photons per second, per .15 square inches (1 sq. centimeter) of surface area. " The thing that caught my attention the most is the fact that DNA in the nucleus absorbs and remits tiny but measurable amounts of light. I thought it was very interesting and wanted to share...I also wondered if or someone else heavily into science studied this at all. -
