Hi KerryAnn-

Are you completely sure it's PUPPS, and not cholestasis? The liver

congestion makes me wonder. . . . I was itchy during pregnancy, and

have reduced liver function- subclinical to an allopath, the

accupuncturist picked right up on it when I was there for oversupply

issues. That being said, since the liver issue is there, I would

think to go first with dandelion root (infusion internally and

topically, and tincture when the infusion's inconvenient) and milk

thistle seed (ditto instructions). Both are used for pupps. The

dandelion is safe in pg, I can't remember if premature labor is a

contraintdication for either herb. The first line 30c homeopathics

would be beladonna and sepia. . . .if they don't work then sulfur

until you can figure out other stuff. Other homeopathics mentioned

for the condition are dolichos druriens, and antimonium (crud not

tart but look it up) and Urtica Urens, which is stinging nettle.

www.abchomeopathy.com if she will do the 30 minute software would

really help there. Does the mom drink nettle infusions? My pg

infusion was nettles, red rasberry, dock, oatstraw, alfalfa,

dandelion root, and other stuff I'm forgetting. . . . Oh, general

immune support helps, also lots of folks think Vitamin A is the

culprit so double the CLO. Congrats on the midwifery work!
