Guest guest
Thanks for the tip Leona. Sounds like Morton's Neuroma stems from injuries primarily? That would jive with me, as I broke that foot a few years back and probably walked weird to compensate while healing. I recently stubbed a toe, maybe jammed it into the nerve. Massaging it seems to make it worse, so I'll lay off that and walking for a while. I was worried that the additional fats I've been eating were making it worse, but it sounds as though more fats (and less sugars/starches) would aid healing? I was wondering about nerve pain in general, diabetic neuropathy, the myelin sheath, etc. Any connection? Leona: > The ball of the foot would most likely be a neuroma. Guest guest
Morton's Neuroma is a mechanical problem and is not related to diabetic neuropathy (although a diabetic could also have a Morton's Neuroma).
