Seems like weaning at the time when you're going through it, though. There's more info on the topic at www.kellymom.com, or on the La Leche League website, I can't remember the exact address. Weaning age for our species is quite old, from a purely native nutrition standpoint. 3-7 years old is the age range for weaning, in societies where breastfeeding is not limited by restrictive cultural norms.
