My understanding is that it is good and useful to gain weight during these periods and counterproductive to try to slim down, which is better done after breastfeeding than during it. Guest guest
Mr. Chorus, > " There I have it " ? Notwithstanding the humor, I hope I did not offend > anyone, it was not > my intention. No, you didn't offend me, and yes that was humor, or sarcasm I suppose. I guess I shouldn't have directed it at you, since you aren't the one who posted the study. > I don't think this should be about ego (who does the most googling, > researching, etc. > etc.), about being " right " . I don't think I or anyone else suggested that, and I haven't Googled anything or mentioned my research experience thus far. > I write from my own experience, firsthand. I think you read that somewhere. > All that said, if you want your comfy food at night, by any means take it, > without feeling > guilty. Or, you could post some research supporting your position. It's fine if you want to back out. I haven't given any supporting research aside from citing or alluding to Colpo's well-referenced book which includes a chapter on this subject with many references. But I just hope you don't do so under the guise that giving supportive research would be egotistical or offensive, because it certainly wouldn't be.
